Let’s go below the surface and get to the heart.
I have been a change agent and coach for as long as I can remember. As a high school English teacher, track coach, and media advisor, I dedicated my career to helping people find passion in learning and growth through curiosity. When I left teaching to join the corporate world at Huntington Bancshares Incorporated, my obsession with learning shifted to corporate training, employee career strategy, and professional development. In 2011, I transitioned into management consulting for Bluewolf, Acumen Solutions, and PwC. Living and working on three continents, I advised Fortune 100 customers on digital transformation in nearly every industry across the globe.
Despite the scale of positive change I had the honor to influence, something was missing. Among all of these experiences, the one unresolved problem has remained constant: people are unhappy at work, drowning in a toxic culture, feeling undervalued, demotivated, and stuck. This results in levels of disengagement that impact the entire organization culturally and financially. Reflecting on my experience, I empathize with my 15 year old niece who was crying because her boss at a fast food chain was treating her terribly. I couldn’t believe that after three decades of work experience, I could point to examples of this type of behavior every day. In that moment, I realized what the world needs from me and my next step. Enter Five to Flow.
With a focus on engaging and empowering people, it was easy to recruit diverse and open-minded professionals who design and execute integrative solutions for organizational wellness. As a collective intelligence, we are determined to enable individuals and organizations to exceed goals by focusing on untapped potential to reach a state of flow. We are passionate about enabling our customers to achieve excellence, winning with employees and customers through collaborative, strategic plans and practical plays for execution. Our curiosity enables us to see the big picture and resolve complex issues with holistic solutions. Our purpose is to use our collective to change the world.
I want to understand you, how you are energized, when you are demotivated, how you influence others, and take action toward your own purpose. Our collective wants to address your challenges and offer solutions that provide guidance on how to capitalize on your strengths. In doing this, we will help you reimagine, redefine, and reinvent the way you view organizational wellness. If you want to learn how you can change the world with us, I’d love to speak with you. Let’s go below the surface. Together.

Let's get better.
When it was finally time to hang up my cleats, retire from my football career and take the next step in my personal and professional life, I have to admit I was lost. My main goal since I was five years old was to become a professional athlete. Once that was accomplished, I realized I hadn’t really thought about what to do next.
Fortunately, my friends and family were constantly reminding me to follow my passions, because at 25 years old I knew exactly what my passions were (he said sarcastically). As time went on, I noticed I had spent most of my free time looking into nutrition, exercise, hormones, circadian rhythms, and evolutionary biology. After several thousand hours of research, it was clear I was passionate about health, nutrition and the pursuit of an optimal lifestyle.
I ventured into the world of fitness consulting, optimistic and full of enthusiasm only to discover most of my clients would not share these characteristics. After more than five years coaching clients in the San Francisco Bay Area, it became clear that I was fighting an uphill battle. I was trying to treat symptoms from the ground up, rather than addressing the real cause of the issue from the top down. At Five to Flow, I am excited to help people like my former clients by influencing companies at the highest levels to take a step closer to an optimal and balanced lifestyle without compromising performance.
