Join me on this journey.

While rowing on the crew team in college, my crew and I needed to make sure our oars were clicking perfectly in time, that the boat was set, and that we were headed down the river toward the finish line the fastest, most efficient way possible. I needed to know: Am I rowing in sync with my peers? Are the ports as strong as the starboards? Is the coxswain steering us in the right direction? When at our best, the results were incredible as we experienced swing, balance, and speed.

Additionally, I performed in several orchestras, choirs, handbell ensembles, and marching bands throughout my life. In such settings, I needed to know how my parts fit into the larger whole: When are my notes the melody or the harmony? Am I in tempo? Am I in tune? Am I even in the right place?

These concepts, both athletic and musical, directly align with how we can live our lives in our professional communities, working with each other toward our shared goals, and recognizing how our diverse skill sets and voices contribute to the magnificence of life’s regatta, life’s symphony. We need strokes, engines, bows, coxswains. We need clarinetists, trumpeters, violinists, percussionists. We need sopranos, altos, tenors, basses. Together, we can achieve uncommon results, excellent outcomes, and new dynamics that help us learn, grow, develop, and improve.

With experience in higher education, student affairs, human resources, change management, and quality assurance, I can help you and your team members communicate more effectively, understand the value of your contributions, strategize for effectiveness, and achieve excellence. This is how my oar, my melody, my role contributes to Five to Flow, and how I, as part of the Collective, can help you. Please share your voice. I will empathetically listen to your song as we work together.

I look forward to hearing from you and your team.
